How do I create special characters to copy and paste?
Enter source text and choose a generated Unicode result. The tool substitutes A–Z, a–z and digits with corresponding styled characters; Thai, emoji, spaces, and punctuation without a mapped counterpart are preserved.

How the calculation works
Each style maps ASCII characters to code points from Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols, Enclosed Alphanumerics, or Halfwidth and Fullwidth Forms. It neither downloads nor changes a device font. The frame style adds symbols around the unchanged source. Text is iterated by Unicode code point so emoji surrogate pairs are not split, and every result is generated in the browser.

Limitations
- Special characters can display as blanks, boxes, or different shapes when a destination font or platform lacks support.
- Screen readers, search, sorting, length counters, and username systems can interpret these code points differently from ordinary ASCII text.
- Only Latin letters and digits with a counterpart in each Unicode style are transformed; Thai and other characters are preserved.
- PDF reports rasterize styled variants to preserve glyph appearance, so fancy text in the PDF is not selectable or searchable; TXT and Excel remain Unicode text.
- Fancy variants should not replace critical content such as passwords, email addresses, URLs, documents, or text requiring high accessibility.
Frequently asked questions
Are these special characters fonts?
No. They are different Unicode code points whose shapes resemble bold, italic, or other styles. They can be copied without installing a font, but their appearance depends on the destination device's font support.
Why is Thai text not converted into a fancy bold style?
Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols primarily provide styled counterparts for Latin letters and digits, not Thai. The tool preserves Thai instead of inventing incorrect or unreadable substitutions.
Will every game and social platform accept these characters?
Not necessarily. Games and platforms use different Unicode allowlists, length rules, and username filters. Test the text first, and use ordinary text for important content that must remain searchable, pronounceable, or usable for sign-in.
Is entered text stored?
No. Generation, copying, and export happen in the browser, and the text is not sent to the server.
